Master Window Cleaners of America

Business choice was crystal clear for Grady Kerr

The owner of Grady’s Window Cleaning follows in the business spirit of his family.

The entrepreneurial spirit has a long history in Grady Kerr’s family.

“My grandfather owned many busi

nesses. My father and uncle also own their own businesses. My mother, too, owns her own interior landscaping company,” said Kerr, owner of Grady’s

Window Cleaning in Fountain Valley.

“My parents always worked hard and taught me to do the same.  They were able to manage their time to be involved when I was in Boy Scouts or to attend my choir concerts at Fountain Valley High School,” Kerr added. “Admiring their balance of work and family made me yearn to be there for my family as it grew.  Family always comes first.”

When Kerr opened his business in 2008, he said he knew he could take it in one of two directions.

“We could buy cheap tools and sup-

plies and run a cut-rate company, or we could invest in first-quality

materials and professional methods to give the highest level of service and provide real value,” he said.

“My father’s company, Glenn’s Alignment and Brake Service in Costa Mesa, set this standard for us to follow.  We knew if we wanted to be successful for the long term, honest, quality service

and a good reputation were essential.”

Kerr suggests that residential homes and commercial buildings have their windows cleaned professionally at least semi-annually. Homes and buildings close to freeways and the ocean will require cleaning more regularly because of the harsh elemental conditions.

“For retail or store front windows, we suggest being cleaned more often. Food service windows should be done weekly to bi-weekly,” he said. “Do you wonder when you see a restaurant with dirty grimy windows if the kitchen is the same way?”

Kerr said his company offers discounts to customers who are on a regular cleaning schedule.

Grady and his wife, Kristie, have two children. He said he’s busy playing with them and serving in his church and in the community when he’s not working and cleaning  windows.
